The Changing of Seasons

Every year, the seasons change. One of my favorite things about living here is that we have seasons. Each season is distinct. Right now, we're in the fall transition. We're heading into winter but haven't gotten there yet. With each change, my heart rejoices. I love to see fall.

You know I love rain, you know this host loves clouds, you know it's because I'm strange...but here's another reason...

The sunsets...oh the sunsets. How could someone not love something this stunning?! Imagine if I had my real camera for this and not a phone! I kick myself most of the time for not carrying my camera. I really should carry it more often.

Here's another weather phenomenon I love...fog. It's like...an embrace. Many hate it, but I think it's wonderful.

Just because it's an embrace doesn't mean I want to stand outside in my pajamas and freeze while I take pictures of the whole ranch...just saying.

And lastly, but not the leastly (is that a word...it's underlined in red, I'm going to keep it anyway), is the colors of fall. This is a bad picture through my very bug covered windshield, but I think you understand.

Why don't I clean that? Why should I? It's going to get gross again in another day. Besides, the rain cleaned a whole bunch of it off. Gotta love that rain! Another reason to love winter.
