The rain has made everything that can be green, green. Our fields are beautiful.
I must say, winter has been good to us so far. A lot of rain, not a lot of wind. I remember winter two years ago, Working Man, MIL J, and I were all out there in the rain with the tractor pulling trees up and re-staking them in the dark. It was terribly cold and a lot of work. I don't do work, that's for Working Man. But on the ranch, when something needs doing, everyone gets to it. There is no getting out of it. Trust me, I tried. But I'm good at driving the tractor now.
