She really does love to ride.
Yuma was making her work for her last ride.
And now for the plans. Matt and I surprised her by giving her the keys to our truck and giving her her first driving lesson ever. She did great! She drove around the parking lot for an hour and we all lived to tell the tale! And I lived to post the pictures. :)
Take them. (Hubby is an excellent teacher and driver, so I let him do this. I didn't want to show off my own driving. You know, it would be too hard for her to attain on her first drive...)
Am I really doing this? We're going to die!
She parked it in her lines!
Time for a happy dance!
Okay Sister K, that's enough.
Okay, one more. That's it.
We then had dinner, which Sister K is now sitting next to me finishing off for breakfast. In an hour, we're heading out to take her half-way home. Then I'm ditching her on the side of the road for good. Kidding. I think.
ESM (Evil Step Mommy [not evil at all]) is meeting us at the half-way point to pick her up. At least, that's what she thinks. Bwahaha! Kidding. We think. If she doesn't show, I'm leaving her anyway.
Soon to be sisterless,
FFR

Well, ESM only had to drive to Tulare from home, about 2.75 hours....YOU, Mrs. Carter, elected to drive further than the half way point (of Fresno!) as I couldn't remember where that certain restaurant was located. So, I lucked out, and you had to drive extra. Sorry, but thanks...cuz I'm old and tired!
