A couple of weeks ago, we had an alpaca who died. Hard to say what happened exactly. He never did look as healthy as the others and I am pretty sure he died of old age, that's my guess. Anyway, this raised a whole new question of what to do. Fortunately, Working Man was all over it and said he would take care of burying the poor critter. Of course, we just sold our backhoe not a few months ago...exactly what you need to dig a nice hole. He made it work though, but not without worrying me from time to time as he did so.
Filling in the hole. I declined to look at Curly in the hole. No need to see that.
Then Working Man starts pushing a little hard...
And his front wheels come completely off the ground. He did that a lot. Really a lot.
RIP Curly, we hardly got to know you before you left us but I hope you enjoyed your time here anyway.
On another note, did anyone figure out what movie my title is from?
On another another note, parents always tell their kids that their pets went to a beautiful farm with room to run when they have to put them down. What am I going to tell my kids??? I AM that farm! Maybe I'll use the old, "they ran away" line. Just hope we don't get any snails or something that doesn't move fast, then it's completely unbelievable.
