FYI: No dogs were harmed in the taking of these photos

Watching Sadie and Honey play, it almost looks like they're actually going to hurt each other. So I disclose to you now that no dogs were hurt while I took these pictures. Do you honestly think I would stand idly by with my camera while someone was getting hurt? I wouldn't...but I'd consider it. Just for a moment. If they were really getting hurt, I wouldn't even consider it...I think.

This last one...it makes me laugh. I love how determined Honey is to get her tongue out there.

What is so interesting?

Begin speculation. What is so interesting? These are blurry because I was trying not to disrupt the intense staring. I don't know what they were staring at.

Is it a bird? Is it a plane? Is it Superman? I really don't know. You think about this and you let me know.

Exhaustion

It overtakes me. Every night, I wake up at least once or twice a night. Usually around 3 or 4 in the morning and around 5 or 6. It's rare I spend the whole night asleep. Last night, I did. I woke up at 7am this morning in the same place I fell asleep. I looked at the clock FOUR times to make sure that was the time. It seemed too dark, plus the bed was the same as when I went to bed. I thought maybe Working Man had not come to bed yet and somehow I couldn't see the clock right or I was seeing an alarm time or something. But I looked up at the DVD player and it was off, meaning Working Man had come to bed and it was indeed morning.

So yes...exhaustion. Apparently it overtook me. On the bonus side, I'm off tomorrow and Sunday. Of course...I need to do laundry tomorrow...and probably Sunday too. At least it's not everyday yet. I hear when you have kids this turns into an everyday thing. Help. It frightens me. I think...I think, I'm going to have a million of everything so I do not have to do laundry everyday. So besides diapers...you know what I'll be looking for when the time for a baby shower comes around.

I also hear that exhaustion is abundant and the ability to sleep for 8 hours without moving becomes impossible. This frightens me too. I like my sleep. I really like my sleep.

Although, I'm not going to worry about it. I have Working Man for help.

Did you know, if you get Lucy's attention and point your finger, she walks that direction? It's pretty cool. Just thought you should know.

Cute Faces

On mornings when I'm tired and I don't really feel like getting up for work (this especially occurs in the middle of the week), I think of the cute faces. That helps me get up for work.

109
This cute face we originally saw in an x-ray. We were counting how many cute faces mom would have. There were seven, we saw them a couple days later when they were itty bitty to get their tails docked and then just recently when they turned almost 8 weeks for their first shots. My how they have grown!

This cute face was a stray that one of our clients rescued. He's a sweetie pie and I love his coloring.

112
This cute face is our groomer's puppy. One of two her dog had not too long ago.

What cute faces do you have at work?

Rolling Clouds

We all know I have a fascination with clouds so I do not feel the need to talk about this again. But just look at these:

097
The depth, the height...it's impressive.

095
Uh, no...I was not driving at the time I took this picture. Wouldn't dream of it.

094
There's the city in the background. With all those impressive clouds.

092
Quiet day on the causeway too.

089
The rain has made everything that can be green, green. Our fields are beautiful.

I must say, winter has been good to us so far. A lot of rain, not a lot of wind. I remember winter two years ago, Working Man, MIL J, and I were all out there in the rain with the tractor pulling trees up and re-staking them in the dark. It was terribly cold and a lot of work. I don't do work, that's for Working Man. But on the ranch, when something needs doing, everyone gets to it. There is no getting out of it. Trust me, I tried. But I'm good at driving the tractor now.

Glad the trees are still standing,
